Working together for almost ten years we are an experienced and coordinated team. We value
working on projects in many different fields. New is good.
We like to get deeply into the projects we develop. From commissioned work to free projects and
editions, from accessories and tableware to lighting and furniture.
As a team of opposed characters discourse is our way to success.
Collecting ideas, inspirations and other design occasions, communicating and discussing them with each
other to develop them step by step is how we evolve our designs:
Being curious, understanding things as changeable, looking for leeway and overcoming borders.
A clean design language, leaving space for interpretations and usage in different contexts paired
with outstanding functionality and a thoughtful choice of materials results in sustainable,
straight-forward and long-living products with that certain something.
To design is a dialogue between head and hands.
Different tools foster this process. Seeking to verify our designs hand built models and digital tools go
side by side. Trial and error with the real material is as important as strategic and conceptual maturity.
Since 2014 we've been teaching regularly at different schools and universities. Working with
students is a very rewarding and enriching experience for us.
We are happy about teachings and talks at Burg Giebichenstein Halle, Kunsthochschule Weissensee,
Angewandte Kunst Schneeberg,
HTW Berlin and Hochschule Coburg.
Always with different kind of approaches:
For example semester projects, short-term projects, fundamental skills in design or material driven
subjects.
And always with the aim to spark the fire for design and inspire people to work in this wonderful
discipline.
To be in involved in shaping future matters of the discipline design, Romin is part of VDID, the
German association of industrial designers and a delegate to Deutscher Designtag and Deutscher Kulturrat.
